About Zschimmer & Schwarz
Zschimmer & Schwarz is a global supplier of chemical auxiliaries and specialties headquartered in Lahnstein near Koblenz, Germany. The family business was founded in Chemnitz in 1894 and is positioned across industries with its nine business divisions.
The company develops, produces, and distributes tailor-made chemical auxiliaries for the leather, fur, ceramic, textile, and chemical fiber industries. The corporate group Zschimmer & Schwarz comprises 30 companies in 16 countries on five continents, 22 of which have their own production facilities
The Textile Auxiliaries Division, located in Burgstaedt near Chemnitz, Germany, offers process auxiliaries that are synonymous with efficiency, effectiveness and quality in the textile industry. In addition to products for manufacturing yarns and fabrics, this division offers sustainable products for pre-treatment, dyeing and printing as well as finishing.
As a system partner of bluesign®, Zschimmer & Schwarz stands for resource-conserving and environmentally-conscious production. Many of the chemical auxiliaries comply with GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX, which means they are certified to be sustainable and pollutant-tested. By strictly adhering to the ZDHC MRSL list (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals Manufacturing Restricted Substances List), potentially harmful chemicals are eliminated from the supply chain.
