jointly organized by TÜV Rheinland, BluWin and GoBlu, with the GIZ as a partner of the event

Chemical management has become a focal point of fashion brands' and retailers' growing sustainability demands on their suppliers. At our recent industry event in Dhaka, Bangladesh the supplier perspective was highlighted - especially regarding their unique challenges and opportunities related to creating greater transparency over the chemical products they use.

“We were pleased to see that among over 300 attendees were both long-time users of The BHive® and newly interested factory representatives. This was a great opportunity for us to present the latest developments of our chemical management platform, which are specifically designed to help suppliers and brands fulfill current and future sustainability requirements.” - Lars Doemer (GoBlu International Ltd.)

Beyond compliance - towards traceability: Insights from industry experts on current and future chemical management trends.

Local and international industry experts joined us to share their knowledge with the attendees: Mohammad Omar Faruq (GIZ) set the stage by sharing insights on challenges and progress related to chemical management in the Bangladesh textile industry, followed by Dr. Siva Pariti (BluWin), who discussed the importance of transparency and traceability in preparing for future regulatory requirements. Lars Doemer (GoBlu International Ltd.) presented how The BHive® is developed in line with current and ahead of future industry trends and requirements:

"While the focus in chemical management in recent years has been on capturing chemical compliance data at the factory and supply chain level, we clearly see the focus moving beyond chemical compliance to full traceability of chemical products at the product level in the future. With The BHive® and our recently developed features, we can meet this need for more advanced data and ultimately provide full transparency to our customers."

- Lars Doemer, Managing Director of GoBlu International Ltd.

Next to a live demonstration of The BHive® performed by Mr. Senthilnathan Vijayaraj (TÜV Rheinland), two long-time brand and factory users of the platform shared their experiences - thank you to Kazy Mohammad Iqbal Hossain (Lindex) and Md.
